4ws stb question

welp.. push came to shove and i bought a rear stb for my 4th gen 4ws.. too bad the bar hits the 4ws unit and i don't feel like taking the unit down and putting it onto the ground of the turnk itself.. also... a lower tie bar doesn't seem to fit the car because of the 4ws unit again

does anybody with a 4th gen 4ws have a rear stb or a lower tie?

or is that the price i pay for having 4ws.. no stb and lower tie

=)

You have to get one made. If you are serious about getting one, there are places to get them made.

The Cusco Rear Strut Bar WILL fit I have seen 2 4ws steer cars with it. If you want a rear SWAY bar, Tanabe and Neuspeed units both fit.

IMO, a lower rear tie bar is just "tuner bling" because our cars come stock from the factory with a rear sway bar, the folded and stamped sheet metal that makes up the chassis between the lower control arm mounting points is reinforced anyway. Unless you regularly road race with excessively high spring rates, a lower rear tie bar is unnecessary.

IIRC the Spoon rear STB should fit with the 4WS computer.

I was never able to find a cheap STB that cleared the 4ws ecu.
As far the the lower tie bar goes, the way that the rear steering rack mounts makes it a lower tie bar of sorts.
