4ws question

I just bought a 4ws prelude and i've been having some problems with it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I noticed that the 4ws light comes on when I start the car and then goes out. Sometimes it stays on and thats when my rear wheels wont move. I didnt get a manual so i'm wondering if I should get it checked out or is there some feature that im missing?

Thanks

If the fault is intermittent, there probably isn't much you can do about it, apart from taking it to Honda.
