Also, 4WS models should have leather and a spoiler. In addition, 4WS models are only Red or Azure.

The leather part is incorrect. All of the 4ws I have seen in person had regular cloth interior.

Yes.
8th digit from left
4 = S
6 = Si/4WS
7 = VTEC

Not exactly, the 4WS cars could only have VTEC only colors.
ie:
Brittney Blue-Green Metallic (changed to Azure Blue in 94)
Red
Black
Not availible in White, Silver, or Fresco Blue (purple)

All VTEC's and 4WS came with factory spoilers. I don't know when they switched over to the LED spoiler, but I think it was after 94.

Also, leather was an option, an expensive option. 4WS was an extra $2400 and leather was another $1100 on top of that, it is possible to have both, just not common.

In January of 2002 I paid $6500 for mine. At the time, it had 164k miles with a perfect interior. The outside showed the mileage, but it wasnt bad. No rust (California)
I drove it with no problems until march, when I blew the h23.
I swapped in an h22 and basically havn't had any problems since then.
