4th Gens with RS*R Exmags, let's see some pics

hey, getting closer week by week to ordering my exmag, but after going to their site frequently, I'm figuring they'll never post a pic of what the exmag looks like on 4th gens, anyone have pics of theirs? If so, let's have a looksy... thanx.

DanYO's RS*R Exmag as I've posted these before:

I love this exhaust. The sound is incredible. Only loud when it has to be.

i have it as well except i still need to develop pics (no digi cam here ) anyway, it's definitely worth the $$ i spent on buying it. gains are pretty much small...but still felt. after you buy it, wait after a couple hundred miles of driving. you'll be even more pleased with the sound

Click on the gallery button at the bottom of this post to see pics of mine. They don't make them in full stainless anymore though.

they are still stainless steel, just not polished. i don't mind though, it's a little easier to just have to keep the tip clean.

yeah, Danyo is right, it's just not polished, it's now ceramic coated stainless steel, so just as good, if not better. Sweet pics thanks vipastyle and of course danyo for taking them, also, thanks cantdrive. KB, after looking at these pics I'm definitely sure now (if I wasn't before: I was hoping to get a Fujitsubo Legalis R, but I can't ball that high for an exhaust at the moment), it's the next best thing to the OEM two-pipe look, and from what I hear, it sounds great, nice and quiet at low RPMs and as vipastyle said "loud only when it has to be". It's ideal for me, I can't wait, i just need the money lol.

Mine sounds great and KB is right - it does get better sounding as it breaks in.

that's sweet, an auto accessory that gets better with time, feel like I need to be following the rainbow to find this or something lol, luckily it's much easier than that. All of you have VTECs, or are there some Sis too? RS*R says it's for VTECs only, but I've already heard at least one person say it bolted up fine onto an Si, in fact, I think it might've been kb ... everyone else concur? Thanks thus far.

I don't know personally, but this thread seems to indicate that it's a very easy mod to the exhaust flange to do it ----> difference if any between h22/h23 exhuast???

cool, I checked it out, thanks. For all the people above who mentioned owning an exmag, did you have to do that too? It's not big deal, if all it is is widening the screw holes, I'm not worried, just want a consensus, thanks.

Mine was made specifically for the Si. The Ceramic Coated mufflers use a more mild stainless steel, there's less chromium content, which would make them more prone to rust if they were not ceramic coated.

I drive a Si, but the exmag was made for the vtec...according to the model number and description. anyway, i thought that some modifications would be needed for the flange, but i went to a shop and i was surprised since it was just bolted on...with no modifications needed. so anyway, i was surprised and happy about that

bredon2k - your exhaust doesn't seem to protrude from the back bumper. is that because of the angle fo the pic? my exhaust does protrude tho...

well i did a lot of research on the exhaust since i wanted it. and everyone said that its just the flanges that need a small amount off modification. so if you want the rsr, go ahead and order it. it will pretty much def fit. or if you really want to make sure, you can wait till sunday. where are you gonna order it from?
