4th genners

How many of you still have the stock lip to the rear bumper still attatched to your car? And if anyone does, do you have a pic of it? Thanks guys... I just recently got the front lip put on after 5 years of owning the car, 2 or so years not noticing the difference. Now I noticed that the rear bumper has holes for the clips to hold the rear lip and Im curious to know what it looks like on the lude.

Correct, 4th gens have a stock front lip, but no stock rear lip, even though there's the holes for the clips and everything, there is no rear lip.

It's not a Prelude lip. Someone else put it on there before you owned the car.

Thanks guys, thats kinda what I was thinking, I didnt see a rear lip on the many lude pics I looked at, and many ludes still dont have the front lip either. I even looked on hondaautomotiveparts.com and they sell the front lip, but no rear lip. Thats weird that they would put the holes for the clips though in the rear bumper...

when they originally designed the 4th gen they probably planned on giving it a rear lip and then either decided against it after production and didn't want to create a new bumper mold to remove the holes... waste of money, OR it was the most rare JDM lip of all time that's never been seen

I bought my 92 brand new and mine never came with a front lip mounted. It wasn't till about a year later when I was talking with another Lude owner and he asked why I took the lip off my car. I told him I didn't do anything to it, then he showed me the lip on his and told me it should have come stock on the car.

After that, I looked at other Lude pics closely and saw lips on all the others. By then, it was too late when I asked the parts dept. about it, but I just happened to have ordered a new one that will be in next week.

I did buy one a few years ago and had it painted silver, but never mounted it since I know rock chips will make it look like crap after one day- maybe I'll just hang it on the wall as modern art!

dude, just put it on, it will look sweet, and you can always touch it up later. If this lude is your only lude, and a daily driver, why not do something to make you enjoy the car more...

You should put on the lip, it will make it look much more nicer imo

I don't think you should get to many rock chips unless you're slammed.
