4th Generation Preludes in OEM condition

Just wondering how many people on here have a 4th gen Prelude in original condition.
I know these cars are getting older, but I know some of you have kept your car in original condition.

I would also like to know how many miles you guys have on your cars too.

Thanks very much.

Mark me down for a sort-of on this one. A bad pulley install did some real damage to my motor at about 201xxx so I swapped an h22a in there. Also my trans was wearing out and grinding all over the place so i went with the m2b4 while I was at it. I would have rather double clutched into 5th and driven that thing for a while longer, but no I had to spend mad loot to keep the lude.

95 vtec, black
204,xxx
sawblades

Currently I keep it looking stock on the inside and out. Any future mods will be minor, or cosmetic details. The only real performance mod has been the mugen suspension, but only because my car had been slammed on stock struts, and was totally beat. Feel free to disqualify me.

I picked up a '94 Si with 140k on it. It was owned by a Dr. who drove it, then let his daughter drive it. It was garage kept and showed no signs of exterior weathering. No rust spots, no paint chips, no scratches, and it wasn't molested with any (cheap) aftermarket parts. It's as close to showroom condition as a ~15 year old car driven 140k can be.

When I bought it, he gave me the "file", which has every service invoice and the original sales paperwork, including the window sticker. The guy was very anal about his cars and that's exactly why I picked that car.

How much did you have to pay for the SI in that great of condition?

I bought in Feb 2007. It's a manual and he was asking $5500. I got it for $5100. The newpaper he listed it in connected to cars.com, so he was taking calls from everywhere, which annoyed the heck out of him. I was local, so I got it.

In the time since I've owned it, it's only needed brake replacement, a radiator replacement, and the oil cooler seal replaced. As far as I can tell, it's going to run well over over 200k.

You picked the wrong platform if you're looking to beat a 427 Cobra.

A friend of mine has a Factory Five Cobra w/ a lightly modified small block. His first time at the track was against a brand new SRT-10 Viper (still w/ the dealer tags ). Needless to say, the Viper owner as a bit humiliated.

Your car looks nice, regardless. Welcome to po!

Ok i got to looking today and this is the good news I got a 92 SI h23a1 prelude for 800 bucks the bad part, the front driver fender is dented and needs replaced ( was in the plans anyway to go to the ones with the vents) and the wheels wont come off for some reason. other than that its pretty sound and even has a nice system and exhaust I guess he got it at an auction and never got time for it so he let it go cheap. what do you all think good deal or what?

Wish i had a camera today, I was driving around and saw the cleanest black VTEC 4th gen parked on the side of the road. Looked like it came off the show room floor! Even the headlights were shiny, and didn't have a scratch on them! Dude must've gotten it repainted or something. I turned around and checked out the interior real fast.... floor mats were kinda beat up and he was missing the cup holder as well (who isn't, lol) but it was still very clean. I was impressed

I've got a 93 Red Prelude that is stock ( as in no modifications, cept for Dec and subs ) . Though my odometer is at 227000 Miles! Ouch...

What do you guys think I should be watching out for with a car with such high mileage? Or any recommendations to avoid potential trouble?
