whats wrong with rating? It's a useful tool/feature we don't use

Well, I bought a 5th gen's shift boot with mounting ring and it didn't exactly fit, meaning the mounting ring holes dont line up at all with the ones of the 4th gen. Using a dremel and some fancy shaped screws, I got it to stay in place. It seems to be a little smaller than the 4th gen boot because it sometimes pops through because of my short shifter, even after I trimmed a lot off the mounting ring. If you're in the junkyard, Honda told me any accord of similar year to ours has the same shape mounting ring, so if you find one that you could sell to me I'd much appreciate it, and good luck in your own search!

I don't know if this'll help you much, but the JDM ITR boot can be made to fit the Lude (I'm pretty sure both the 4th AND 5th gen). Black w/ red stitching = IMO.

Anybody want to buy my Lude? (Will sell in either stock or fairly modded trim).

www.jdmhondaparts.com has them. You can also check:

www.inlinefour.com
www.randdmotorsports.com

It was the best 30 or 40 bucks I ever spent on my car. Oh yeah, sorry about the crap that went on in the "reliable mods" thread. Fourthgeneration and I apologized.

That's the one I have with my Spoon knob. If you plan on using the stock Prelude Shift knob, it won't work well though Charlie. The CTR(red stitching) and ITR(yellow stitching) boots have the round ring at the top as opposed to the square one that fits the stock shift knob.

What's really SLICK is the combo of the CTR shift boot (red stitching) w/ the JDM ITR titanium knob... OOOOOOhhhhh, so smooth. Since Spoon & Mugen don't make sh!t for H23's, I have to be creative these days.
