If you check the link in my sig I did the installation on that stereo plus a Miata (more wires.) All I really want is door lock/unlock and trunk release. I think that's pretty basic and fairly easy, the only thing I wonder about is mounting the trunk release. Some people on this site used an Accord power trunk unlock on 5G's but I don't know if it will work with the Prelude. So I guess I'll give it a shot, any particular brand you recommend? I use DEI car stereo stuff and I really like them (and their tech support.)

heres how u do a starter kill with 1 relay:

86- goes to a 12volt positive switch
*cut starter wire*
87-goes to starter wire on the starter side
30-goes to the starter wire form the ignition switch
85-goes to ground
87a-not used

if u cant test for a starter wire and a positive switch ie. brake or parking lights
then i wouldnt try it

i saw an interesting device at the mall once. its a winch w/ a steel cable. u mount the winch in ur engine bay and connect the cable to ur hood. when u arm ur alarm, the winch locks up and theives cant pop ur hood. i've searched online, but i cant find it anywhere... oh well

i saw it at a security store

I've heard of hood locks that act in a similar manner ony I think they were a bit like the factory hood catch but operated by switch/remote
