4th gen prelude-heater probs

My heater is not blowing out on the different settings; it remains barely blowing out like its off; but it keeps the windows defrosted. If i adjust the heater nothing changes. Curious if i need a new heater blower or whats going on. PLEASE HELP.

One thread wasn't good enough for you?

Check fuse #9 under the dash and fuse #35 under the hood.

If both of those are good. Turn the ignition on go to the blower motor there should be a 2 wire harness. One of the wires is blue/red. Ground that wire. The motor should run. If not unplug that harness. Measure voltage from the blue/white wire and ground. If there's voltage then the blower is bad and you need to replace it. If there is no voltage turn the ignition off and check the blower motor relay.

Do that and report back if nothing works I'll provide more trouble shooting steps. If you do not know how do any of this or do no have a multimeter then you'll have to bring it to someone who does.

heater or blower?

the blower fuse is under the hood a 40A... in the plug the blu/wht is the positive and blu/red the negative... with the plug in the blower (you can take it out and then put it back) put a wire in the blu/red terminal connected to ground and the blower should come on at full speed

-if the blower works, then you may check the a/c unit... look for resolder pins guide or you may need a new one

if the heater is not heating, the problem could be in the inlet water hose of the heater... maybe is clogged like mine was...
the inlet heater hose.. if you stand in the front of the car it will be at your left, next to the engine, in the termostat and runs to the back of the engine (behind the PGFI)
