4th gen prelude change engine

Hey guys i have a 4th generation aus model prelude vtec.. im just wondering what can i do to modify it to get a horsepower range around 300hp... Do you guys believe the vtec are good in comparison to the SI model due to SI is better for force induction or what not. I am also wondering is it possible to fit another engine inside the 94prelude engine bay, take for instance a type R integra 02 model. My goal is to basically create a weekend car that can reach 300 hp, if anyone can help me to achieve this it would be great,

thanks !

Go look in the boost forum.

And why would you want a weaker motor (stock wise) b18c5 over a h22?

You do realize integra guys want to put in a h22 and not a b18c5 right?

Oh, well just to let you know, if you've got $10k laying around then you can do the k20 converision.

It has been done on a 5th gen prelude at a very high cost and isn't a recommended swap because of the ease of slipping in a h22.

if you want to do a k-series swap, they now make the conversion axles and mounts. hasport makes them. i'm not sure about the whole thing with wiring and a/c though.

you can get a k24a4 (i think) accord/element block, and boost it. it has a relatively low compression ratio which is good for 'boost'

Why dont you nab some nitrous? If you can tune a 100 direct port should get you there.
