4th gen MSD blaster SS coil installation help?

hey guys
my MSD blaster SS coil just arrived today and this might mean my car will be back on the road since my car wont run cos of weak spark...

i'm going to use it with my STOCK ignition for the time being.

1) can anyone help me out with the wiring and a safe n good place to mount it? i've heard ppl say not to mount it in the stock coil position.

2) also, will i need a ballast resistor as it says in the instructions if i'm using it with stock ignition? the msd tech's say i dont... can anyone clarify this?

3) besides the plug wires, any other wires i should change? and what type should i use?

thanks guys

does it have 2 terminals (+ and -) to connect wires to?

if it does: wire the + terminal to a black/yellow ignition wire and wire the - terminal to the blue wire on the 2 plug connector coming out of the distributor. you don't need the balast resistor. mount it anywhere.......but remember, it must be close enough to put the coil wire on the dist.

i think you need spiral core wires instead of the stock plug wires. i'm not sure, though. that may be for the MSD box.
