Yes, there are 4 "bottlecap" looking knobs on the back of the JDM's (two for each bulb). You can turn those to adjust them.

Just remember that you will never get it right no matter what you do because the JDM beam pattern is specifically for right hand drive cars not left hand.

Yeah. Just stick a phillips head screwdriver in the plastic hole, line it up w/ the notches in the bottlecap, and turn, turn, turn, 'til you get the aim you like.

they are designed for right hand drive cars as in they point towards the middle of the road instead of toward the shoulder? How does the pattern differ?

My drivers side get a litlle more light. I still don't really believe the beam pattern is set up different for right and left hand drive. I looked at all the cars my family has and to me all there beam patterns where symmetrical.

I dunno, I've noticed that even right after I put the JDM's in, before trying to adjust them, that there was a LOT of difference. For one, after putting them in, everybody and their mother was flashing their high-beams at me, and I was using stock, JDM H22 bulbs, 'til one burned out. So, after I found out how to adjust them, I lowered the aim, as symmetrically as I could, and one side definately fans more to the side than the other (the passenger side, which makes sense). I try to adjust the USDM driver side as much as I can, but I can't get the same light-spread as I had before w/ the USDM lights.
