4th gen h22's without a/c...

What kind/size of belt did you use and about how much weight do you think it saved you by removing the condensor and everything. Is it worth removing (weight-wise/parasitic-wise) or should I just get pulleys and leave the a/c there. Anyone got any facts on this or personal experience? thanks...

I dont believe that pulleys serve a purpose but thats just my opinion. You would save about 50+lbs removing your ac system, personally i do not believe that it is worth it, Id rather keep the AC.. just not a worthwhile mod unless your a full blown race setup.

yea mine has always worked sparractically. And it actually smelt like burning one day. I never use it and have been considering removing it also. Its not really the condencer but the pipes connected to it that bug me. I have been thinking about getting rid of mine also. Any one got any info? I also live in So cal, its hot but i can deal with it.
