4th gen auto->mt swap

so ive got all the parts required and heres my question on the lists ive seen it says i need front and rear motor mounts umm is there a difference between the at and mt motor mounts i know the tranny mounts are different but thats a no brainer..and my 2nd question is there are 2 plug pin goin into the clutch pedal unit and i look and didn't see the plugs underneath my dash im just curious if they are there somewhere or do i need to cut the ones off the doner car and wire them in

No, you don't need the front and rear motor mounts...just the tranny mount. As far as the plug for the clutch, you need one from a donor car and wire it up accordingly with your starter relay.

The F and H series use the same mounts, but auto cars have a different rear mount.

hmm if that the case, h aha i got two motor mount with a front clip i got, the sides were gone

i talked to a good resource who has done the swap on a 4g and the rear motor mount is needed like u all said now all i need is the 2 plugs that go into the clutch pedal ones for the starter and the other is for cruise control

i am also doing the trans swap on my 99 lude and my motor mounts bolted right up i had to go to a diff mount for the trans (right side)off a 5 speed but so far its going great !!are you using the wireing harnes off your auto trans ??if so (not shure on the 4 th gen )but mine had to be wired up to the main harness and thats where im at in my swap !!let me know what you end up doing and how it works out for you !!
