I'm curious how the 4g electronic 4WS works in comparison to the 3g mechanical system. I know that the rear rack is electric, but I'm specifically looking for how it utilizes the front and rear angle sensors, the input angle sensor (behind the steering wheel), and the ABS wheel sensors.
I know on the 3g system it's entirely input angle dependent. Anything under 300 degrees or so and the wheels turn with each other, beyond that... against each other. How does the 4g system work (help me out, I don't have a 4g Helms
)?
