i'm planning to buy a header for my H23 prelude SI.... what's exactly the difference between 4-2-1 and 4-1??? and what's best for my AUTOMATIC prelude??? and what's the good header? thanx people!
ps: is a header worth it???
i think 4-2-1 makes for alot better air flow than 4-1 (might bwe wrong) you should DEFINATELY get headers becuase they help for better exhaust flow.
sorry im the only one to help you right now but everyone else is busy WHORING in the OT forum.
as for the best i dunno really i used to think dc sports but now im hearing that they arent that much different from the stock headers. i know that when i get headers for my h22a im prolly going to go with neuspeed becuase ive been hearing good things about them.
I would go witha dc sport header. They show good gains and are relatively cheap. Most the other good headers are only made for the h22. Second, I don't belive there are any 4-1 headers made for the h series engine. With 4-1 you loose low end and gain more top end.
ok look at it this way...
ANY aftermarket header is better than stock.
just get what you think is best dont just ask us ask shops and other people too. i personally think either dc sports becuase they've been in the business for awhile or neuspeed becuase ive been hearing good things about them. and neuspeed headers use a better coating over dc sports (my ceramic dc's are rusting) im personally goin with neuspeed just to give them a try .
by the way how much do those smsp headers run for??? they look of the heezy for sheezy
