I think the DOHC one is a H series. To convert to OBD2 you need to hook up a bunch more sensors.
yes...steve at hondamotorsonline looked at the block and told me it says h23 on it. makes sense since they never had an h23 non-vtec over there like we do here.
We had a non-VTEC DOHC H23, but people who have done H23VTEC conversions have had some issues, so what's the difference between factory H22s and VTEC-H23s? Does anybody really know?

we're not talking about the h22/h23 hybrid motor though, we're talkin about a h23 vtec from the factory. its in new accord wagons in japan apparently.

Did they ever give you a qoute on one of those OBDII H23 VTEC'S (Accors SIR-T)? I emailed him yesterday about it, havent gotten a reply yet (not really expecting one till monday).
