is 2"x50 foot exhaust wrap will be enough cover the f22 aftermarket header?

I am planning to buy the aftermarket header to get rid of the factory header because I cant stand the look of it, so an aftermarket header with heat wrap would look much better, but anyway, I am wondering if 2inch by 50 foot will cover the header from top to bottom? Just from 4 to 2 and 2 to 1. Not all the way to end. Let me know, thanks!

It should but you could kill your catalyst by doing it. You should do some reading up on how thermowrap works. You definitely want it to go past your O2 sensor and don't leave any open spots as they'll be weakened from all the heat trying to escape in those areas.

You must not be wanting much power if you're willing to spend money on a auto S model.

Damn, you are the only one that answer my all questions in the past and now, lol. I just want to do exhaust wrap and header to keep my engine bay clean due having JDM Type S Intake, neuspeed strut bar, and will do redo wrinkle black paint on my valve cover. I am sure I didn't say I want to add some mods to my engine. Its just single cam. All I want is keep the engine bay clean.

If you are getting an aftermarket header it will look clean by itself IMO. You could get it ceramic coated too. I used heatwrap on a header and it cracked it.

^That can really only happen if you leave areas unwrapped so that the heat will try to escape there making the metal hotter than it would be if it weren't wrapped at all. That or it was made out of mild steel and not stainless. Mine used to be wrapped until a went over a dip and it ripped it on the bottom, at least it didn't do any damage to the header itself but I had to remove the wrap for now.

From what I researched, what you do is not right way and itll be like that. So I will do it in right way to prevent that happen. Just ordred an aftermarket header with DEi black exhaust wrap with silcone coating spray.

It was because it was a DC ceramic coated mild steel header. Its not really possible with some header designs to completely wrap every square cm of the tubing.

Well that explains it then, those headers are total garbage, I'd rather attempt to make my own before buying one and I have 0 welding experience but at least have access to a welder.
