Okay so i wana make my prelude faster. The motor is at 199k so a turbo is out of the question, id rather do it all N/A. I just picked up an exedy clutch and 11lb flywheel, so that is pretty much my starting point. Currently it does have a few problems, surging idle(i tracked down every vacuum line just waiting for my lcuthc to get put in then cleaning the TB) Much of the cars history is unknown, other than it was probably never opened up(alot of cabon buildup), and it sat(rats nest) Im not looking to do an H22 swap, id rather be different and build an H23 so here at my plans
1. Clutch/Flywheel
2. Fix the idle surge
3. MSD blaster coil, with redtop distributer cap
4. NGK Plugs and Wires
5. AEM Tru-Power Pulley kit
6 Weapon -R Secret Weapon Intake
Those are what currently going into the car, any idea of what type of WHP ill be pushing and if i should tune?

Yea but arent they supporting mods, for when i go further, eventually i want to get a stage II port and polish, Stage II cams, better valves and valvetrain, cam gears bigger TB, portmatch the intake, larger injectors. Im just trying to get a solid platform, to go off of. i know everyone is gonna say do an H22 swap. Id rather just be a little different. Im open to suggestions.

Thats mostly the plan. I was gonna do bolt ons first, I/H/E, the flywheel and clutch, pulleys, MSD ignition ngk plugs and wires. get a programmer, throw it on a dyno tune it, and thats my short term goal. To be done by april. I cant pull the motor, until i start college in the fall, me and my buddy are gonna car pool so i can afford to have it down for a week or two. and ill have some money.

MSD and wires do nothing. Clutch and flywheel also won't help, but if you're going to pull the engine, might as well replace them. Also don't forget to budget for basic maintenance items that should be replaced (water pump, timing belt, rear main seal, etc.)
Just make sure that you wait to get some different pistons etc. before you get bigger fuel injectors. Theres no point in pouring more gas into the motor if it doesn't need it because even with stock ones most of the time on old cars you're not burning all the gas up in the combustion chambers anyways
