1993 helm...

i was wondering if getting a 1993 used prelude helm manual is worth it for $25 shipped. i have a '94 prelude and i was wondering if the two different years would have a lot of differences and if this was a good price for a used one...

mechanically they would be about the same, but electrically, they wouldn't. Basically the entire interior wiring would differ from yours.

Well, besides the fact that they didn't include the Vtec model, so you don't have any of it's information for if you're ever gonna do a swap, they are almost identical (one or 2 small differences).

So, what he's essentially saying is that you can buy a helms '92 for your '93, but if you ever decide to drop an h22 in there, you'll need to find one for either year specific ('93) or even a '94.

yo i have an h23 vtec 93 and a 93 book covers everything except the h22. Youd need a newer gen book for that.

the 93 Helms should cover the S, Si, and VTEC so the h22 should be in there since they offered all 3 models that year.

um... then you don't have a 93 book or the VTEC related pages magically disappeared. My 93 Helms covers everything about VTEC and all accessories on VTEC ludes. Its the first edition, published on 9/92.

H23 vtec? do you have a head swap or the JDM engine?

Unless they've come out with a new 2.3 liter vtec engine, I think he probably has a head swap.
