1992 lude si Air Fuel meter not working

Anybody know if a bad O2 sensor would cause a AF meter to read lean and then not light at all...??? Its all the way rich when i start it then goes lean after about 30 seconds???

A bad O2 sensor normally will put the car in a closed loop A/F mode to protect the engine which is normally richer than usual. You may have other problems but if you CEL is on for that then it must be resolved before moving further into diagnosing.

Well resolve any CEL codes then start over, only logical thing to do.
