Hi everyone,

Just bought my first prelude (1992) and wondering if Icwn get some advice. What looks better on a white '92, 16" or 17" rims? What finish should I get? Thanks

Depends on the rim.

I'm open to anything. I'm currently looking for some used rims. The only reason I asked is because i read in this forum of someone saying they're getting rid of their 17" because they think it's too big. Anyone have pics of their prelude in 17" and 16". Or is the size difference so marginal that it wouldn't make a visual difference?

17" rims require smaller sidewalls. This will reduce ride comfort and doesn't look great, IMO. If you're open to anything, I think you should get some 14" Honda steelies and spraypaint them pink.

17s look great, BUT you need to lower the car and have a front lip or something first. Otherwise they just look awkward.

Those rims do look really nice on the ride, idkif its just the camera, but i think those rims look staggered to me, 16's on front and 17's on back.
either way both sizes look good, its all up to your personal preference though.
Good luck!
