I might be some rims soon and im gonna for sure get slipstreams, but i was thinking that its retarded to get wheels that will slow you down. I was wondering do you think 16's that weigh 13.5 pounds will slow down my car? I have the stock si 22 pound 15s... Or should i just go with the 15 inch slips?

my 17's are lighter than my stock too, and they are wider... my car has no problem getting them moving, i actualy go faster with the 17's on (cp35's) cause the 15's cant get good traction

I'd get 15s. The stockers are 15" and they don't look that bad when the car is lowered. The 15s are even lighter. I plan on eventually getting a set of 15" Slipstreams for track use.

I would have to agree with this statement. I had the stock 15" alloys on my 93 lude and i swapped them out for 16" Konig Ziege wheels with 205/45 16 Hankook Ventus tires and my 0-60 actually dropped. I weighed the original 15" wheels with the stock size tires as well as the new wheels before i put them on, and the weight actually came out exactly the same. I had measured my 0-60 numerous times before the wheel swap running between 6.4 and 6.9 seconds with a second gear chirp, after the 16s were on i pulled between 6.2 and 6.5 with much better traction off the line and no second gear chirping. I imagine you would have even better results considering the wheels you are looking at are even lighter.
