I have an SI...But i don't want to get turbo yet for this car... Probably for the next Prelude I buy.
And yes, I do have this money! I am not fooling around. I saved the money from the bank and for this car. Now I need some suggestions in how to use it wisely.
Performance/Exterior/Interior/Audio

well it's an Si, so your car is neither fast nor slow but it's a 4th gen lude...which is a beautiful car..I say go Exterior/Interior...go performance with another car. I'm not cutting up the h23, it's just that $1500 won't go very far on the engine...
just get air ride and drag yer car on the highway its fun man.

What do you have so far? How much longer do you plan on keeping her? I would start with bolt-ons if you haven't yet...
Intake, header, exhaust...Move on to cam gears, MSD, plug wires, maybe even an SAFC...
Jason (AIM-->JDMSLICK96, or MSN IM-->JDMSLICK96)... For SALE: Recaro SRD Limited Edition seats, VTEC sub enclosure w/ Kicker 6x9 Free Air subwoofer (& free amp). PM w/ offers. Rest In Eternal Peace, Capt Derek Argel, Capt Jeremy Fresques, Pfc Chris Hill, & Sgt John House (all lost to Iraqi conflict).
Anybody want to buy my Lude? (Will sell in either stock or fairly modded trim).
Dont bother with the Spoon Wheels. They are only a pound or so lighter than the Rotas. Cheaper to just get the Rota and have them powdercoated. The only reason rotas are so cheap is the finish quality.
dunno wut yer talking about but my car rides 10x better with air, and handles the same as coils, maybe its cuz i have 4ws dunno though.

For about 1600 I think I could hook you up with a body kit (black widow, combat, shogun, etc), DC headers, AEM Col Air Intake, and Ground Control Coilovers.
This way your car would be low, look phat, and have a little more power. Then all you'd need is the exhaust. Let me know. Thankyou.
You'll be so happy with the way it looks you won't drive yourself mad trying to make your car faster.
I'm happy of how fast my car is with a couple of mods i say put i/e/h and have some fun whooping some ass, 2.3L responds nicely to some mods. By the way i just absolutley murdered what had to been a 5th gen SS,cause i dont think i can beat a SH or base that bad, with the few mods i had

If you want to look nice then get rims and body kit
If you want handleing get some rims, tires, coilovers, shocks, strutbars
If you want more speed, in my opinon would be first priority, get intake headers and exhaust
I have an si and it goes good and I think it is worth the boltons.
my suggestion would be to take your time. look for deals on used parts (they come up ever so ofter, just keep your eyes open) and research your purchases wisely. figure out what your goals are for your car...ie. autox, show, 1/4 mile track.
the one thing i have learnt over my few years of buying parts is that it's always the parts that you buy "spur of the moment" that you wish you had never bought.
