I was cruising around Hmotorsonline and they are advertising
a weekly special of '01 H23A VTEC Blue valvecover longblock.
for $2000, is this the motor from the Accord Type R from the UK?
Just wanted to know if anyone knew

The HP is slightly less than the JDM H22 (remember, the H23 VTEC is rated at 200 PS, which works out to about 193 HP if I recall correctly). A tad more torque, and it's OBDII. This motor has been discuessed at length before, please do a search.

The HP is exactly the same as the JDM H22, 200ps = 197hp.

It only came with an auto, but any H/F series would bolt up.

The redline was lower than JDM H22
