What the short shifter does is reduce the throws. I don't know if the Pure comes with a shorter stick however. Yo Bobby were you getting it from? Sherman?

I realize the Pure Short shifter is really just an (adapter) but since I haven't had the opportunity to try one on a 5th Gen I thought I'd just ask those who DO have one, how they liked it.

Greek I'm considering getting one "used".

Hey, well if you are who I think you are then actually it's never been used. I only really took it out of the little ziploc bag it comes in once.
