I have both...

I own a 5th gen lude and just bought a 2002 Altima V6. The first day we were driving it home my wife was in the Altima and I was driving my Lude and she stomped me, tire spin and all. The Altima is quick, but having driven both, the Lude is a way better car. It is alot more fun to drive.

I saw in another post where your worried about your SS, have you ever noticed that most of the posts about how bad it is are from people who are worried about it going out and very few who have actually had it happen.

I have the SS lude with 48XXX and have a JRSC on it no problems with it at all. I do wish that it had a higher stall, but that is a quick fix with a new stall converter from Level Ten.

Dont sell your Prelude, it is a much better car IMHO. and if your really worried about the Tranny, Level 10 sells a "bullet Proof" SS tranny for $2700.00 and it has all their good stuff in it.

not unless i absolutely need a 4 dr, and like many others, i'd go for the WRX or maxima instead. with financing, the difference should not be much. so the WRX is not sexy, but altima is worse. i've already gotten used to the look of WRX, it can look good with some work like the civic

Not an Altima but a Maxima SE 6-speed.
