would any of u trade in your 5th gen for a 2002 altima se?
i went to the nissan dealer yesterday amid thoughts that my ss 2000 lude might eventually have tranny issues that i dont want to deal with, and test drove the new v6 altima....that thing flies...its not like the lude but its an amazing car. The thing is too expensive for my budget tho i think at base price of $25000, i mean last summer i bought my lude with SS and spoiler thrown in for $22000 including tax tag and title, which was a great deal....anyone thought about getting the new altima?
My mom did .... LOL sorry im bored but really i wouldn't maybe the SE-R for a 5door but ofcourse i was never a fan of 4door cars ... oh yea or else maybe the Cl-Type S 6 Speed would be nice
How did the shifter feel on your test car? It felt too mushy for me, or maybe I'm just used to the Prelude tranny. It actually popped out of first gear at one point, I was really surprised. The clutch didn't seem to grab as well either.
not in the near future. maybe if and when i have a family, but for now and at least the next several years, my prelude works just fine for my lifestyle. i dont' understand why people buy such big cars when 90% of the time they don't even use the back seat or all that trunk space. the maxima is a nice car, fast in a straight line, but the thing handles like what it is, a boat. you'd think by now nissan would put an independent rear suspension in the thing. the altima is supposedly a little better in the handling department, but nowhere near the vicinity of the vicinity of the prelude. the fun to drive factor is crucial here, and the prelude is by far the funner car to drive.
WRX is nasty looking
I don't know about the Lancers overseas, but all the ones I've seen around town look like busted @$$ civics
If you want a Nissan, 300z is a good choice
The old Lancer EVO VII are nice but the newest ones look ugly.
AND
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I wouldn't replace my lude with a Altima SE. Although Nissan is doing a great job with their design. I'm starting to like the new Altima and Maxima body style.

..thought about... ok, nope don't want one. Maybe when I am older and married with children i'll get a nice 4 door family car so we can all goto church together, lol. Nah lemme stop, its an ok car, the manual is pretty quik stock, but I would rather get the 2002 Maxima 6 speed, mmmhmmm that would be my pick... but I am not into 4 door cars, gives me more of a reason to drive people w/o cars and are too lazy to take buses and trains like we all did a chance to hitch a ride. I personally like the new Nissan lineup.... But for now I am happy with my Prelude. In the future however I know i am going to get slaughtered for this but, I want a 99 Camaro Z28 SS.... 6 speed, thats what I am talking about!!! mid 13's stock! anyways I am not saying i don't love my prelude b/c anyone that knows me knows i have a sacrificial worshipping of Preludes..... BUT to answer you question, do what you like... as in syle vs style i think the lude is sexier. my vote: Stick with the lude
naw, i wouldn't. if youre looking for a fast sedan, go for the wrx as i did. and I didn't trade in my lude either (for the wrx).
nasty lookin? naw, not mine after lowering it 3inches with TEIN's and some dress up 17's.
