Wings West Whale Tail same as a Mugen Wing?

I don't see many Ludes with the WW Whale Tail, but from their site it looks like the Mugen wing. Does anyone have any pics on their cars? Does it bolt on to the stock holes or clip on like the Mugen?

I got WW whale tale it is just like Mugen except Mugen does not require to be drilled into the car. The WW wing does fit stock holes. How do i know that cause the marked holes for a stock spoiler is the same holes i had to drill throug to install my WW wing.
here are some pics

nice ride man, but the pics are huge

from what I remember the WW whale tale is exactly the same as the mugen one, but only the mugen has clips to hold it on while all other replicas are drilled

i used to think the mugen was clipped on too...
according to king, the mugen uses the stock hole locations, but if your car never had a wing, you must drill

Sup everyone,

The real JDM Mugen wing is a "clip on" wing. It does not require you to drill any holes onto your trunk. Its made to be a clip on so that when you do decide to take it off, there won't be any holes on your trunk. I don't know where you got your info from but I got my wing from KING Motorsports and their MUGEN wing is a clip on...

ok guys here is the real scoop, one of my friends has the real deal mugen wing and the others have a WW rep, I've seen them both side by side...

The WW rep looks like the mugen, but when you've seen the real one, the difference is night and day...The real one is smaller and sits better on the car (better flush mounted), also it IS A CLIP ON, the lines on the wing are more defined and the WW one is more smoothed and rounded...

Which one to buy? Well, is the mugen one worth it? Well, I think i'd get the one with the LED if i got it, and prob will spend the money, i like going all out. To most people, who see one for the first time, you won't be able to tell the difference, anyone who has or has seen or been around a lot of WW reps, when they see a mugen one they will be able to tell right away.

Umm how about 1000+

the WW whale tale is 300. You could modify this to add the light but ... i think thats too much modding IMO.

I used to think so too....but they're not really that bad....just a different style. I kinda like the whale tail cuz it's not just a flat piece, it's got the angles on the sides. I don't like how they stick out so far tho ::

the real mugen wings with LED are $700, if you guys want I have one real one for sale but it doesn't have a LED. I'll let it go for a lot less, it's painted pearl white.

It's really not night and day....the difference that is. Lets put it this way, if you see them side by side, the real Mugen is a little thinner, thats about it. The quality of the WW is just as good as Mugen, it just all depends on if you want to drill holes or not. If you already have a stock spoiler, the WW (unlike other replicas) fit in the stock holes.........

bad purchase!!!! I'm gonna kill you.....steal the volks and throw them off of a bridge.....

why do i wanna spend the 400 bux more for a subtle difference??

Granted I'm in love with JDM ****, but I think I'll save that 400 for something else....

no, because of the way it clips on..there are screws that clamp up far underneath the trunk..it's extremely sturdy

specialque, is that 99+ pearl white? (premium pearl white?) if so, i might want to buy it if it actually clips on. i got the drilling impression from king, beacuse when i emailed asking about that they said that if i didn't have the stock wing, i would have to drill. where it clips on does it damage the paint at all? --you've got a PM.
