Why not just wait installing the springs until you get the money for the shocks and install both together? The springs will only hurt performance. Plus, if you are planning on paying someone to install, you'd have to pay twice to install the springs, then the struts. Just wait. I'm personally waiting for the scratch to afford some Pillowball Upper Mounts for Tein HA Coilovers and I'll install together.

Yea, it all depends on what you mean by 'ok'...

Is it going to jar your brain loose, and kill you? No.

Is it going to be a tad on the ghetto side... Yes.

i just got my H&R race springs and will be putting them on in a few days. Id say use the stock struts if you dont have any more $$ then, when they blow, upgrade to better one. Thats what im doing> JMO

If you can do both at the same time do it. Race springs on stock shocks will be okay for a few months and then you will really appreciate your new shocks.

I would do both setups if you could, but if you cant then stick to stock's. Ive had my H&R race springs since i got the car and now i have 47,000 miles on the car, and still using the stock shocks Not very proud of myself but i just dont have the money to buy new ones!! Rides ok

It will be way ghetto. Stock shocks just don't cut it when your lowered.

I would wait. why pay the labor twice besides I think that it would ride like junk. I am waiting till i get the money for my Koni ground control setup. Why rush things to look cool. Do it the right way.

Stock shocks for like 1 1/2 years . Then to KYB's...you'll be fine with the stock shocks...
