Why not just wait installing the springs until you get the money for the shocks and install both together? The springs will only hurt performance. Plus, if you are planning on paying someone to install, you'd have to pay twice to install the springs, then the struts. Just wait. I'm personally waiting for the scratch to afford some Pillowball Upper Mounts for Tein HA Coilovers and I'll install together.

i went on h&r race on stock shocks for a long time. i just got koni's like few months ago but i was on them for like 2 1/2 years really really bouncy but its ok
i just got my H&R race springs and will be putting them on in a few days. Id say use the stock struts if you dont have any more $$ then, when they blow, upgrade to better one. Thats what im doing> JMO

Yea I put my Sports on like 2 months ago... My ride is fine-- feels pretty much like stock... when they start going on, Im putting KYBs on... until then I'll let that 320$ draw intrest.
If you can do both at the same time do it. Race springs on stock shocks will be okay for a few months and then you will really appreciate your new shocks.

RIP Elliot, you will be missed
I would do both setups if you could, but if you cant then stick to stock's. Ive had my H&R race springs since i got the car and now i have 47,000 miles on the car, and still using the stock shocks Not very proud of myself but i just dont have the money to buy new ones!! Rides ok

I would wait. why pay the labor twice besides I think that it would ride like junk. I am waiting till i get the money for my Koni ground control setup. Why rush things to look cool. Do it the right way.
Originally posted by mr-scarface well i cant really afford to get shocks right now, thats why i wanna just run those springs off stock shocks for a few months.
