Hey Luders,
I bought myself some Ebay JDM foglights. They worked great for the first month I had them and then my driver light seemed to stop working for some reason.
Things I have trouble shooted:
Grounds
Connection
Bulb
The ground inside the casing
I can't seem to find the solution, they are wired up CORRECTLY I have followed instructions on an online source step by step. Another thing, I noticed when I warm up my car the light will be off but when I come out after 5-10 mins of it warming up it will be on sometimes (that tells me its not a bump I hit or accelerate too fast or slow down too fast) I have un plugged and replugged several times. Any Ideas/Solutions are much appreciated. Thanks!
Wiring is all correct. No melts like I said the EBAY fogs are fairly NEW I'm about to get a replacement bulb to see if that's the problem, but this bulb looks fine
they are ebay... should have gotten authentic ones.... just saying. Mine have been legit since day one.
I been telling people this **** for years!!! Seems like only few listen. The ones that do never have any problems except changing an occasional light bulb.
People, don't cheap out on fogs, get OEM only. In the end you will save money instead of going through pairs and pairs of aftermarket fogs.

That's weird of u to say that because in the thread opener I don't think I asked what foglights to get. If u have nothing useful to contribute please don't post anything because that didn't help me solve the problem whatsoever, I know these work they did before for about a month I am only troubleshooting. So unless u have any ideas please stay out of this thank you
Do you have the receipt or remember who was the seller? Hopefully they are V2's. I have had no issues with mine and can vouch for them.
When the low beams are on the fog lights are on, can you get a multimeter and check that there is 12v at the bulb wire, and also on the negative wire that you have continuity to ground?

I was making a point that OEM is the best! Don't tell me to stay out of anything mate! I'll post anywhere I want.
I got Aftermarket Fogs off Ebay for about $80. The housings are metal, all wiring is solid and sturdy. Other than having to do the H3 Mod (Because H3C bulbs were impossible to find other than online) I have had no problems with them. They fit perfectly.

I don't know how you think you "go through" a pair of fog lights.
One of the 5th gens in these pictures has JDM fogs, the other 2 have ebay v2 replicas. Can you tell which one has the legit fogs? Not really....
Even when looking at them side by side in person, it's hard to tell a difference between the replicas and the real thing when they are actually mounted on the car. The Ebay fogs fit just as well as the OEM version. A lot of ebay parts suck, but their fogs are decent.
