You know youre not suppose to touch the bulb with bare hands right?

The oil from your skin will heat up and explode the bulb. I have had noykas in my car for over 6 months on the same pair. No problems here. The smallest amount of oil on the bulb will cause the bulb to explode as with all halogen bulbs. Dang 40 bux? My honda dealer is selling them for 20. Shop around and you'll find a better price. Ive run Hipers Industries and Noyka bulbs in my car with no explosions.

You should try a set of H1's by Catz. Ive own a pair for probably over 7 months so far and have not had a burnout. I was very careful when installing them, making sure not to touch the bulb. The downside is that I had to fork out 50 bucks for them. But, turned out to be worth it in the long run.

Correct...

Be sure when your installing/removing/handling the bulbs that you DO NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES touch the glass part of the bulb. Any amount of foreign residue or oil from skin/car etc will easily cause the bulb to explode when they are on.

I've been installing my bulbs since my last 5th gen lude. I didn't touch the bulb or scrape it on the hosing. I had my last hella bulbs for 7 months, but I changed it out to stock, cause' I got so sick of getting these cheap craps!!! I was getting this one, so i could have a presentable ride for the atl meeting. I had 6 pairs before, ranging from euro light, to catz.... they all burn out, but this one was ****!!! it Blew up, instead of going out.

I'm so pissed off, I could sell my car and get a BMW!!! but no... I like prelude, can't live without it...

His question was how to clean up his crappy mess, but I guess telling him about the better bulbs is good also If you look at eyour headlamp housing, you will see that there are the three or four clips on the top. Well remove the housing and I believe that there are more clips on the underside, you can open the clips and the housing will come apart and you can clean out all the crap. Be carefull as those clips break easily. I haven't done this, but I mam sure that if you go to a honda dealer they will show you how to do it....may have voided some or all of your warranty though..so maybe don't go there...just a thought

Man... a crappy vision bulb blew up in my headlight.. so I just got a paper click and double sided sticky tape and used that to get all the small peices of glass out.
