Ok all im having trouble finding is a whole radiator support. Also my car has no battery power. No windows, keyless entry, lights etc. Battery is good i know cause i tried 2 different ones. All fuses look fine. Any ideas? Or any specific fuse to check? Need to roll up windows and such.

www.Car-Part.com

Just enter a Prelude Part for your year car, and call and ask about the parts you are looking for.

Cheapest way to go!!

If this is what i am thinking this is, then you dont 'need' it. This was found a while ago to have no functional purpose, but to provide a little extra strength to the front frame/rad. area.

Its like 15lbs or so. I as well as many other members have taken it out for weight savings on the fifth gen tank.

RE source. For OEM parts try ebay, and what has been said.

I used to always use Majestic. Mainly cause they are out of RI, so shipping/lead time was quick to me, and will certainly be to you.

its called a rebar, technical name for it is actually bumper,i'm a bodyman so i should know, and you could go with a front clip or a junkyard for the radiator support, but its gonna take you 3 times as long cutting off the peice where as you can just take a brand new one, punch the holes where you need to and weld it up,hope this helps

Yea that helps, i found some local ones at a junkyard for the same price as a new one from a body shop. So im gonna go order a new one monday, as for taking it off do i just unbolt it from the fenders and then punch out what looks like small holes for a drill bit? Appreciate your help!

what you'll need is a drill, various size drill bits, and a die grinder, you grind off the most of the spot welds, the only time you drill out a weld is if you're gonna weld it back up using the hole you drilled through, honestly i think you should let a professional do it because you gotta make sure you put the radiator support in the right place,if you dont the hood, fenders, bumper, headlights wont line up right and you dont want your car coming out looking like crap,if you were down here in florida i'd help ya out no problem, but if you're gonna do it yourself, just grind off all the welds that are holding the radiator support on,punch the holes on the new one using a drill or a hole puncher and weld it back up
