I got mine from www.importhorizon.com. I actually haven't gotten yet, but I ordered it a week or so ago and should get it this week. I paid $208 for it, it's the polished intake however, most places charge $279 for it. Try there

I got my AEM intake from www.importhorizon.com. About a month later at one of the lude meets I was lookin under the hoods of all the ludes' and I noticed mine looked quite different. It turns out that mine was for a 88-91 civic . And now Importhorizon won't replace it with the intake I ordered (I even checked my receipt to make sure I didn't accidently order a Civic one). So now I have to order a real Prelude intake again

Originally posted by Ruchmate www.landspeedracing.com has them for $185 for an AEM CAI w/out all the group buy stuff. They often have free shipping on that intake too.

You are going to have to take out your resonator (unless you have already). and there is a hole where your resonator and intake box connect. Your AEM will go through that hole and your filter goes on the end of that residing in your fender well. You have to dremel around the hole and make it a tad bigger for the AEM tubing to fit in there.
I know of a few people that didn't need to make the hole bigger. But all of them are 4th gen drivers. Check out www.ntpog.org they have detailed instructions I think.
And please dont order from importhorizon.com that would make me so happy. I hate them so much.
Oh yeah, at groupbuycenter.com there is a groupbuy on aems, and if they are in stock you get free overnight shipping. I haven't ordered from there yet because I don't think he has them for the 4th gen, in stock. But I think he has them for the 5th gen...

Honestly u r not going to get as good as gains (if any) if u buy a short ram (warm air intake) I would get the Cold Air for better performance
U r going to loose some low end torque w. the CAI but gain it back in the high end
these are for silver, red and blue, polished is more

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. Life is about learning how to dance in the rain
But I would get a Cold air. If I can install it than I'm pretty sure you can. If you want you can try an Iceman because you can change from short ram to cold air, and you don't have to enlarge the hole.
Have any of the 5th gen owners had to enlarge the hole?
I just ordered from landspeeedracing.com btw, total with shipping was 182.00

k i know i sound like a dumb ass but .... i thought short ram was even shorter piping then the one i was talking about ... so the one with the filter next to the battery is called short ram ?

The guys were awesome to deal with... AEM was backordered on my intake (silver), so Mike kept calling me to update the status on my shipment... VERY professional, very fast... very cheap. They do lots of groupbuys, look them up, you'll see their rating is very high.
