www.motegiracing.com has rims that look just like (better to me) than tantrums and are cheaper. They offer gunmetal and white which konig does not offer. If you want to order those the cheapest place ive seen is www.1010tires.com I wanted 18" Motegi white MR7s (look just like tantrums) with 215/40/18 yokohama paradas for 1400 total. Too much for me. Good luck on rims!

what do you guys think about 17s? i mean. i like 18s. but i think getting tires would be expensive since i have a bad camber problem.

Here is a white lude with motegis, not mine tho

since MR7 motegis look like tantrums here they are:

http://www.hondaprelude.com/setups/s...ly.asp?id=9519

This guy is undropped and has 35 aspect ratio tires with 18 inches so it has a big gap kinda. If you have a white lude I suggest the white MR7 rims. white on white is killer and looks great. Silver is all right but white has the best effect. 18s are large rims so if you are dropped a lot you should go with 17s. Why dont you fix the camber problem with a camber kit? A messed up camber will create uneccessary wear on your tires. If you get new rims and tires it will mess up 17" tires pretty fast. Adding larger rims and tires with that camber problem is not good. 215/40/18 yokohama paradas are 140 a tire they have excellent treadwear rating for 18s, they are highly recommended. That price isnt bad considering stock potenzas are 128 a tire! 17s would look good with a 2" drop, 18" would be good with a drop less than 1.5"

Will the MR7's in 17' rub at all on a lowered lude (1.5'-2.0'), I think there offset is +40, is that a good enough offset so it won't rub or should it be a higher offset???

I have never liked Tantrums... but that does look tight.

NVTECJ: Tantrums are the norm, so are altezzas (which i can't stand)... and white tantrums on a white car is hella lame ... IMHO

That will definitely rub sooner or later... especially that low. You need 44mm+ (48mm preferably) offset if you are going that low. -- assuming you're talking 17x7.

I'm not positive, but yes I think so... if you are dropped 1.5" or lower you may still rub when cornering hard or at high speed over an "undulating" surface.

Jacques has Ground Controls and is lowered about 1.5"... his rims are 17x7 with a 40mm offset... the only time he ever noticed some rubbing was in the scenario I described above.
