Waste of time doing the "custom" job if you ask me... My A-pillar took like no time at all to install. I saw a PO member make a custom gauge box installed in his glove compartment.

6 gauges? think long and hard before u do so. i currently have 5 and i think its way too much. u wont really be monitoring them all.

I have 2 on my a-pillar, 1 in the center console (the part the you have to lift up to get to, aka armrest) and I am putting my other 3 in the glovebox or more likely where the passanger airbag is. It is alot og guages but I need most of them to monitor my nitrous and oil....

My boost gauge is sitting on my air vent and held in by a air freshner clip.

Blitz makes a DIN panel so you can mount them over/under your radio.
http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/hood-panel-stand.pdf
Look in there.

You can also be creative like this guy.

Speaking of guages, do you think its a waste to put a voltmeter on a A-Pillar?

I currently have it mounted inside my glovebox with some velcro and it stays in place pretty well.

I assume the only real time I am ever going to look at this guage is if I run into starter problems again or I leave the stero on for a long time.

yeah id like to make a custom setup for my gauges as well. this guy from the mdpc (maryland prelude club) has a very sleek looking center piece built to hold the apexi vtec controller. i want to put more then just one gauge in that area, but the space seems a bit cramped \/\/\/
