When do I need a rear camber kit?? 2.5" drop too low?

After searching I still haven't found a really clear answer to my question. Here is my situation....I'm lowered on H&R Race springs and KYB AGX shocks. Right now I dont have any problems with camber. I've been this low for about 3 years now and had no negative camber wear. The camber in the front is off by .8 degrees which isn't a big deal. Anyhow long story short I'm getting Nuespeed Koni Yellows and i'm gonna drop it down to the lowest perch. Doing so i'm gonna really mess up the camber. Now i'm gonna get a front kit, but seeing as how my camber is perfect in the rear now should I really worry about another .5 "? Is 2.5 inches to low? Anyone with a rear camber kit please let me know how low you guys are. Also if your lowered over 2.5 and dont have a kit how are your tires holding up?

well just go ahead and do what you wish, then, take it for an alignment, take the #'s, compare them the camber kit guide and you know which one you would have to get

as for .5 in the rear... hard to say...every car is different...best bet would be to get an alignmnet....and besides you would be able to tell if you need one or not

All I'm going to say is that when I had Neuspeed Race springs I needed them, and now I have Tein SS and I have ~1 finger gap all around and I need camber kits.

Ok I'll keep all this in mind. Maybe I'll only drop it down one notch rather than the whole way. My only thing with lowering the car then getting an alignment is that its a pain in the but to rent a spring compressor and stuff. I'd rather know before hand and get it done all at once rather than have to go add the rear kit.

97Luder - Well bud thing is the reason Im getting new Konis is because my KYB's are blown behond repair. The ride is so bad I would do anything to get these things off my car. I'd give them to you for free but its not worth the time to put them on your car. Sorry man.

theoretically u "need" camber kit when you lower your car any amount, it's just the smaller the drop, the less wear from the bad camber.. but still, the wear would be more than stock would.

KYB AGX struts are very good for people who arent dropped that much, his blew because they were lowered further than the manafacturers suggested height. Adjustability = Good struts for drops ~1.5" or less
