What is wrong with my alignment? Any 5th gens with this issue??

I have had an issue for a little while now with my rear drivers side toe being off. my 01 base prelude is lowered and cambered correctly but the toe is still off at -2 degrees. I am burning through tires on the rear drivers side like toilet paper on a grill right now so I really want to get this taken care of so I am not buying tires every F'in 6 months.
A local shop did a diagnostic test and said it was the rear cross member beam, so I went to another place to get that tested and they said that wasn't the issue.
I now have a rear cross member beam that I bought for 150 that I have no use for (besides the point.) With all else failing, I found a fabricator who says he can cut off 1/16 of an inch and then re weld the toe control arm. He will do this over and over, checking the alignment in the process, until the toe is corrected. We came to the conclusion that after a minor accident several years ago that didn't leave a lot of cosmetic damage to the car that it was possible that the frame is slightly bentNow....my question is....is it possible that is it the rear knuckle causing this issue with the toe? OR should I try out the cutting and welding of the toe control arm? Any advice would be great!

You def. have structual damage if you can't get your toe in line, esp -2 degrees, that's crazy.

You have a lot of options and I'm not very well versed in them.

1. Buy new suspension parts, most expensive way but will def. solve the problem throughout (junkyard it basically).

2. Do what your frame guy suggested although I hope you trust him as this is suspension parts you're messing with. You don't want a weld to fail while driving, very dangerous.

3. What do you mean by the "rear knuckle"? The whole assembly is off which is why you can't adjust the toe correctly. You can adapt to it with option #2 or buy a whole new one option #1.

im with peter on this one. There is major damage to the vehicle that caused this. Did you buy it used and maybe run a carfax?

thank you so much for the advice man. The dealership ran a diagnostic test and told me that I needed to replace the whole left rear knuckle assembly which I can find for about 100 used. Should I just try to replace that before people start cutting stuff up? I reallllllly dont want to start cutting and welding, soooo should I just bite the bullet and try the whole knuckle assebly replacement??

There is no external damage to the car and it has all of its original body. So the person before me may have hit a curb hard or something. Carfax is CLEAN too so I am completely confused by this.

Carfax is frequently wrong.
