HKS hi powerd is a good exhaust plus good sound, If you can help it dont use a cat converter better sound more hp. My buddy has straight pipes with the HKS and you can hear his car take off all the way up the road. good luck

you should try searching because i know i have seen threads like this before

but to answer your question, most cat backs will say sh or base on them or come with a piece that will allow it to fit an sh. if it doesnt say on the site then send the sellers an email. because its called a cat back, it means that it includes everything from the cat converter to the muffler tip, so to answer your question no they wont come with a cat.

i was looking at this cat back, i have heard good things about it

yeah if he wants to do that he would have to get the tip and have a custom shop make the actual piping from the cat to the tip, because ive never seen a hks catback that fits the sh. i was looking at the hks dragger for my car because they have a really low rumble.

he has a straight pipe from the headers back? no resonator? no wonder you can probably hear him 3 stop lights away

if you do get custom done piping dont go 3" because thats just to big for a n/a sh. and i agree with Accord2Prelude that if you can avoid the cat and just get a test pipe and a mechanical cel fix

An1onchigurh- I know its not even close to the same but i had HKS dragger tips on my accord with 2 in a half inch pipes. First i just had headers with tips and the pipes i mentioned. The system had a nice start up loud take off was loud and i still had the OEM cat. later i put straight pipes on it and it was loud and more power basically what im saying is i like HKS drager if your thinking about it. and my buddy you mentioned had everything custom with hi power tips

i have the Apexi WS2 that i just installed less than a month ago. i love the exhaust but i'm going w/ a custom header back system and will be selling this. i bought it for $460 about 6 weeks ago and only had it installed about 4 weeks ago.

ask around and you'll only hear good things about this cat back system.

let me know if you're interested... thanks

if your going for the sound, mugen is probably one of the best but be prepared to pay alot. for performance id say go with a custom catback/header-back exhuast.

i was in the same situation as u...i ended up going with the apexi n1 and i couldnt be happier..has such a nice tone to it. picked it up used in good condition for 120 haha.
overall tho... apexi/skunk2/greddy/mugen are all good exhausts. i just like the sound of the n1 compared to the others

If you got the paper buy hks hi powered tip and go custom everything else with no cat then you got everything the power you want and the sound you want but the tips are up there and so is custom headers with no cat. and oh yea dont get pulled over buy the cops
