I don't have a Prelude, but I'm pretty sure it's 7400.

Off topic:

corruptdvtec, I'm not sure if you checked your thread from a little while ago about the Skunk2s.... Did you cut the bumpstops in half? This could be your problem.

The Indicated redline is 7,400 but I BELIEVE but don't quote me that the limiter comes in at 7,600 according to the service manual. Its just our tachs that our off, thats why it indicates 8k.

to stop us from overdoing it. A lot of car speedos are way off too when you get to higher speeds. They indicate that you are going a fair bit faster than you really are.

geez people! look in your helms or do a search.

the fuel cutoff is at 7600. the "red line" is a red line painted on your tach....... you shouldn't need to ask anyone where that is.

on most 5th gens, the 7600rpm fuel cutoff occurs at an indicated 8100 or so.

hey manace yeah i did check and yes i cut the bumpstops in half, i am almost wondering if i should have cut them a little more, the ride is a little rough like the car is sitting on them.....but its ok..it looks a lot better now that it is lowered..got about a fingertip worth of space between each tire and fender...ill post pics as soon as i can
