NTPOG 5th Gen Air/Fuel Controller - OBD2 "Workaround"

I read the article but I seem a bit confused... However, I looks worth giving it a try, has anyone here ever done this before ? If so please give us some feedback on it.

Your OBDII computer "learns" your mods and it thinks it's "correcting" itself, but actually, it's setting itself back to factory specifications (ie you give it more air, it gives more fuel to keep the mixture at what it thinks it should be) By putting a switch on that wire, the ECU "forgets" what it has previously learned, so it can never really reprogram itself to factory specifications.

Obviously a advantage of this is not having to keep resetting your ecu, but does anyone know of any other advantages of disadvantages of doing the "work-around".
THanks
