Even though I do have the AEM, I vote for the Injen for it's looks. Gun metal rocks, and so does the plain polished one. They are basically the same, not much engineering goes into the making of intakes (I don't think). I mean, do they really spend the time to optimize the bends and such??? The difference is, one company has been around longer than the other. I have the AEM b/c it was on sale. If the Injen cost the same as the AEM at the time, I would've bought the Injen.
You dont have to make the stock hole bigger with the Injen, right? I know with the AEM you have to grind away at it for the tubing to fit down there.
What about the Iceman? Iceman says that their tubing is tapered at the TB end so that the air has to speed up as it gets closer to the plenum. Is this BS? Any aeronautical engineers out there or anyone really good in fluid dynamics?

With any cai u must grind away at ur precious car... with mine, i just used pliers and bent back some rubber and voila... it fit...
Also aem(i guess iceman does the same)says that the bigger the intake doesn't mean more power... It depends on the velocity of the air into the throttle body... I personally think this is bull**** since the engine is pulling the air in and if more air is available the more air it can pull in...

Man all of you injen guys have no idea about the AEM. I believe it was Ed-camden who had the injen and was losing power at the dyno, so he put his aem back on. But im not sure if it was him or not....

Without the bypass valve, its prolly alot cheaper.
I really recommend them.
One thing to note is that they have alot of Silver AEM CAIs in stock, so if you try to order a Blue or Red AEM CAI, it might take longer than 3 days. They were giving me a timeframe of one month for a Blue AEM CAI, so i just switched to a Silver.
