I'm thinking of getting these in 16x7 with 225/45YR16 Bridgestone Potenza S-03. They are SSR Integrals. So what you guys think? I've heard good things about both the tires and rims.
I really haven't done enough research on the prices but at the tirerack they have them for $249 each. With tires it would come to $1778 something like that. I'm still thinking about it. I would go with 17s but my car would look like an SUV. If my car was drop them I would get the 17s. But around here is not worth dropping your car. The roads suck. I've driven a few drop cars around here. I would just be a big headache for me.
Nice mags. But then, so are the stockers. Hey - those do beat the SH mags tho...but don't go 17' unless you like lookin' good while stopped - they'll slow you down...
The Integrals in 17" will not slow you down. They weigh something like 16 lbs. That's +3 lbs less than stock and you'll be wearing a lighter tire due to a smaller profile. As far as quality the SSR Integrals rank amongst the top. I'm seriously thinking about them or the Advan Kruezer's in 17" But I can't find out how much they weigh.

Have you looked into getting the SSR Competitions? Those would look great on your car, even in 16's. Might be a little out of your price range though, but shop around.

Your combination is great, and i came very close to ordering before I got into medical school. Even today, I would order teh exact same thing. I am also currently running 225/45/16 on a 16x7 kosei rim and they certainly fill out the fender nicely.
SSR wheels are a step above because they are forged, and not cast...that makes all the difference in terms of durability...I have a friend with the wheels in 18" here in boston and they have remained unscathed.
..hey guys... can someone explain to me the main differences between a cast or forged rim?
and what about those of you with 225s?
I'm running with 215s and I already had to trim a tiny piece of plastic from the interior of the fender.
