What do you get more HP out of?

i have read a couple of post from different people that have put a S2000 throttle body on their 5th gen preludes. my cousin swears that you get more HP out of putting a throttle spacer on then putting a S2000 throttle body on. i dont know much about throttle spacers so im a lil ignorant. i just dont see how you dont get more HP from the S2000 throttle body. it is a 80mm throttle and the OEM throttle for my car is only 65mm. someone please help me.

The larger opening allows for more airflow. The spacer creates higher air velocity because it has a longer time to accelerate

You're mistaken on both sizes of TBs. The stock USDM Prelude has a 60mm TB and the S2000 is 62mm.

the throttle body spacer also increases the total volume of the intake manifold. (unknown to most, you want your intake manifold volume to be bigger than that of your displacement.)
