What to do about driving in the winter!!??

Im new to having a prelude and mods done and im very nervos about driving in the snow and when the weather gets bad.

i dont want it to hurt my car or mess any thing up and my body kit is pretty low to the ground and i just dont want salts and slush to mess up my car. i have also been trying to find a winter car.

please share your advice and things you do for the winter or if you do anything at all.

First how low is the car? If it's real low and you have a fiberglass kit you could have an issue so you might want to think about a) raising it for the winter b) buying a beater or c) just not driving when there's substantial snow on the roads.

If you're just dropped an inch or so you'll be fine but I always ran snows in the winter. The lude was a very capable car and never even came close to getting stuck when I ran snow tires.

As for the salt and road grime etc... I used to just go to the self serve car wash and blasted the crap off the car whenever the weather cleared up or the roads were dried. Of course you want to make sure you get a good coat of wax on the car before the winter comes too.

I got my car lowered down so there are no wheel well gap. And I've got a lip kit. Honestly, I found it easier in the winter because the pot holes get filled with snow and other low areas where your car would normally bottom out would also get packed and make it smooth.

I am buying a 1993 WRX GC8 Friday to use in the winter. May even be my daily driver soon.
