Well I just sold my wheels and I want to get

Well it was time to buy new tires so I decided to sell my wheels instead because the 17" where too big for me they would rub every now and then.
So now I'm thinking of buying Racing Harts C2 3 mult piece wheels in the size of 16x7.I dont know the offset of the wheel, which is kinda throwing me off.If you guys know the offset that would cool.I have 1.5 Drop on my car and a WWRS kit now I was just trying to figure out what size tire would work.. I would like to have wide tires all the way around. Here are the sizes that I have found.
205/50ZR16,215/50ZR16,225/50ZR16
205/45ZR16,215/45ZR16,225/45ZR16
205/40ZR16,215/40ZR16,225/40ZR16
Any help would be great , But I am in kinda of a rush want to get this done by next weekend...

Thanks

What size tires did you have on your old wheels that caused them to rub with only a 1.5" drop? Sorry, but 16" C2's just don't sound like a good idea to me. But if you're going to go ahead and get them, 215/45/16 works for a 7" wide wheel...

I agree with SpanishRicer, 16" 3-piece wheels look really small if you compare it with another 16" 1-piece wheel. If you decided to get 16" wheels, go with some 1-piece lightweight wheels, and use 225/45R16 (tire manufacuturers recommend 7.5" width wheels for this size tire, but 7" width would do fine too).

What was the tire size and offset of your 17's? Did you trim the "rear triangles"?

It will be the right size but look bad because it is so small. If you want speed, get some light weight 16's. If you want show get something bigger and get the right offset. You shouldn't rub with a 1.5" drop if the offset is even close to stock.

3-Piece wheels in small sizes look MUCH smaller than 1 piece wheels because they have the ring that the spokes attach (rivets, bolts, etc) to. So when you see a 16" 3 pc. wheel with a 1" riveted or bolted ring will actually look like a 15" wheel because the actual "unique" or "stylish" part of the wheel is only 15" wide. Hope that makes sense.
