I'm going to get the valves adjusted. Should I get a valve cover gasket kit as well?

ok sorry to bring this back from the dead but everyone on this forum always say to search so here i am.....my car is makeing the SAME EXACT sound and im pretty sure its the auto tensioner the only concern i have is that my car only has 53,000 miles on it....so my question is should the tensioner go bad with in 53k in it??? and if do have to change it do i have to change my timing belt and every thing else that usally you would have to change

yes its possible for auto tensioner to go bad at 53k. you might as well change your tbelt water pump etc while everything is torn apart. not to mention that the tbelt has probably deteriorated significantly over 9 years.
