Weird question.....someone help me out

So i got my car back from the dealer today after it had been in there to get the work done from when it was broke into. Anyway my clock and power locks wern't working, and i know it is the fuse. But my car feels way faster....... If i remeber right the fuse that is pulled is the one that resets the ECU. My question is " with that fuse out of there should i see a signifigant gain because my car is not able to remeber any data, and it is constantly re-adjusting everything based on present readings and not the past ones."

This may be stupid........but i really do feel that it is faster, maybee its just been in the shop so long i couldn't remeber how fast it really was.
