Water (fluid) in cylinder
Hey Everyone,
I'm new to Honda's and this forum. First off, Let me tell you about my 'lude. It's a 1997 type SH and was $1900 and the odometer says 134k on it. The person I bought it from said he did a swap on it and the actual motor has 100K on it after the original got water locked. So I bought it as a fixer-upper to stop ruining my DD.
So far I've replaced the radiator and starting to get into the engine some. After replacing the radiator I noticed some smoke. First I thought it was from some fluid I may have spilled. So I turned it off and let it cool. I moved it into the garage and saw a puff of smoke. I quickly pulled it in and turned it off. couldn't find the source again. Anyways, I went to check the spark plugs and I noticed some water or other type of clear fluid around the plug. now the car hasn't been outside in the rain and the wires were on tight and the wire cover on.
So, Is this a normal problem and may be fixed with new gaskets? or some thing worse?????
Thanks, Dan
