Usually depends on dealer

I had an AEM CAI on my lude when I had to take my transmission in to be repaired under warranty. They did not say anything about it at all and took my car in with no questions asked. But now some dealers are a real ass when it comes to mods, Ive read stories on this board about them. For example, this one persons warranty on this transmission was voided because they claimed his intake made him abuse his car or something and resulted in his tranny failure. Now that is total BS. If a dealer gives you trouble about mods, take it to a different one. A warranty can not be voided unless that particular mod caused the failure. That is the law I believe. My honda dealer even sells AEM intakes etc so they can not say anything. So in the end it all boils down to how the dealers feel about mods. Hope this helps
